hypertrophy leg workout: Squats, Banjos, and Angelic Choirs



Nothing too crazy here but the workout went like this

Barbell Squats- 4 sets of 4-6
Front squats- 3 sets of 6-8
Goblet squats- 3 sets of 8-12
Straight leg deadlifts- 3 sets of 8-12
leg curls- 3 sets of 10-12
leg extensions- 3 sets of 10-12

With this kind of training I like to keep it pretty basic and just focus on keeping the weight at around 75-85% of my 1 rep max and keep the rest at about 45-90 seconds. I also like to start with heavier weights and lower reps and progressively increase the reps and decrease the weight and rest time throughout the workout, but this was my first heavy leg workout since I had tweaked my back so I had to take a little time to let that heal and do some work on my hip mobility. Overall I was pretty happy with how the workout went plus there was no back pain at all which I was paranoid about when I was warming up.

Just to warn you in advance, my battery died at 11:45 so that"s why the video quality changes there.
