Chef Demo - 3 Ways to Enjoy Lettuce Beyond a Salad & 3 Great Dressings
Chef Demo – spring time and greens are in season! Chef Woody Back of “Table and Main” demonstrates great ways to enjoy different types of lettuce and easy dressings. For his lettuce sauce Chef Back uses egg yolk from Many Fold Farm, fresh Boston Bibb lettuce, parsley, and shallot from McMullan Family Farm, olive oil from Oliver Farm.
For his Kilt Lettuce salad, Chef Back uses lettuce leaf from McMullan family Farm and Planted Rock, green onions (or ramps) from Heirloom Gardens, bacon from Pine Street Market, cider vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.

“Lettuce Smoothie”, with buttermilk from Banner Butter and honey from Hidden Springs Honey.
“Roasted Spring Onion and Mustard Vinaigrette” with roasted spring onions from Country Gardens, whole grain mustard from Doux South, honey from Hidden Springs Farm, fresh parsley from Heirloom Gardens and olive oil from Oliver Farms.
“Green Goddess Yogurt Dressing” with fresh basil, chives, and parsley from McMullan Family Farm and Heirloom Gardens, tarragon from Heirloom Gardens, raspberry vinegar, anchovy filet, and fresh yogurt from Atlanta Fresh.
“Buttermilk Feta Dressing” with buttermilk from Banner Butter, cider vinegar, goat’s milk Feta from Decimal Place Farm, homemade mayo, and minced chives.

The Peachtree Road Farmers Market is the largest producer-only farmers market in the state. Producer-only means that everything at the Market has been grown, raised, or made by the seller, ensuring fair prices for both the vendors and the consumers.
The Peachtree Road Farmers Market takes place on Saturday mornings beginning April 11th, rain or shine, until December 19th.
