RICE CEREAL Recipe ( 6months babyfood )

Ingredients: ( for rice cereal )
1 Cup - Rice ( If you are not sure of what rice to buy, buy organic white rice )

HOW TO COOK Rice Cereal for baby

Ingredients: ( to cook rice cereal for 6+ months baby)
 1/2 cup - water
2 tsp - rice cereal ( prepared in this video )
1 scoop - formula / baby milk powder ( optional .. but adds a creamy taste)
 
How much to serve:
For 6+ months baby, serve 2 tsp of this cooked rice cereal.

Recipe #1 - Banana Rice Cereal ( for 6 months baby )
Ingredients:
2 tsp mashed banana
cooked rice cereal

Recipe #2 - Apple Rice Cereal for 6months baby
Ingredients: ( for #2 - Apple Rice Cereal )
 1/2 cup - water
2 tsp - rice cereal
1 scoop - formula / baby milk powder or infant milk powder ( optional )
2 tsp - apple ( peeled, de-seeded & finely chopped )
 
note: finely chop the apple or grate it for a smooth cereal
( or the baby will spit the apple pieces )

Recipe #3 - Date Rice Cereal for 6months baby
 
Ingredients: ( for #3 - Date Rice Cereal )
 1/2 cup - water
2 tsp - rice cereal
1 scoop - formula / baby milk powder ( optional )
1 tsp - date ( de-seeded & finely chopped )
 
note: finely chop the date or soak and add for a smooth cereal
( or the baby will spit the date pieces )

Tips:
-First, start with the plain rice cereal and a week later offer the fruit flavoured cereals..
-Around 6 months, babies are often ready for 1 meal ..
-Offer 1.5 - 2 tsp of pureed foods for 6 months baby
-Make sure the consistency is light, runny and easily swallowable for the baby
