I"m super excited to become a contributor for Like The Wind magazine to get the second quarterly issue (#19). My story,"Funemployment", investigates how running calms and amplifies the emotional and spiritual roller coaster at life"s grand adventure. The narrative is accompanied by some amazing original art from Rosie Leech, along with many other excellent articles, illustrations, and photography. I"m quite excited to be a part of it!

(Issue #19 - Coming soon!)
If you are not familiar with Like The Wind, I highly suggest checking it out. Launched in 2014 by runners/artists Simon and Julie Freeman, this UK-based magazine is unlike anything you will find on the newsstands. Once a quarter, they set out a 100+ page, ad-free treasure trove of long type stories and authentic art that reach the heart and passion of"why we run". Every issue is really a work of art, superbly assembled by the Freemans and co-director Imogene Lees, with plenty of assistance from inspired contributors and volunteers. It continues to be among my favorite gifts to give, and by far the most read tome on the coffee table.

If you want to read the article, please help out the Like the Wind staff by buying a problem or subscription. As you can probably tell, this attempt is driven by love of the sport, so every dollar helps keep it moving. For you podcast listeners, I would also strongly suggest listening to Mario Fraoli"s 2018 meeting with Simon Freeman. You"ll love it!
