Core Exercises that Work Abs NOT Hip Flexors

http://strengthside.com

Exercises to strengthen your abs & core muscles without triggering your hip flexors.

Planks are great for working your core and you are not going to be using your hip flexors because you are in a static position and you"re not in hip flexion.

Diving into the deeper issue, any exercise that involves hip flexion which most ab exercises do, it"s important to get in a good position. If your"e in a good brace position then you are going to engage your core muscles.

It could be a crunch, leg raises, extensions. It really doesn"t matter what ab exercise you are doing, if you get yourself in a good position you will use your abs.
