Toni Cornell is the 12-year-old daughter of singer Chris Cornell, who died tragically at the age of 52 earlier this year.

Linkin Park was actually slated to perform today as part of GMA"s Summer Concert series, before Bennington"s unexpected death. One Republic took a break from their current tour to step in and pay tribute to both Bennington and Cornell.

Chester sang this at Chris’ funeral, and this is arguably one of the greatest songs written in the last 50 years. It’s a very special song to us, and I think to most people and especially to Toni [Cornell] as well.
