Putin: Bomb in Russia Supermarket Was Terror Attack The bomb that went off in a St. Petersburg supermarket on Wednesday was a terrorist attack, President Vladimir Putin said Thursday. At least 13 people were injured in the attack after an improvised device exploded at a storage area. Authorities said the device contained seven ounces of explosives to cause maximum damage. Despite Putin"s announcement, no terror group has yet to take responsibility for the attack.
