Organic Film Developers

In February of 2015 I participated in a residency with Daïmôn in Gatineau Quebec. With this residency I explored alternative practices to processing 16mm black and white motion picture film stock. Through this residency l researched and created 5 new recipes for black and white film developing using organic materials that can be found at your local grocery store. The following images were photographed while testing these techniques.
