EAST MEETS WEST:

3 oz chilled Tealeaves Lapsang Souchong
2 oz Hudson Baby Bourbon
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz organic agave nectar
lemon wedge garnish

Preparation: In a mixing glass combine Hudson Baby Bourbon, fresh lemon juice & organic agave nectar. Add ice and shake until the ingredients are evenly mixed. Fill a highball glass with ice & strain the contents of the mixing glass.
Slowly pour the chilled Lapsang Souchong so there is a layered effect in the cocktail. Garnish with a lemon wedge & enjoy.

Tea Preparation (brewed extra-strong for best results):
2 cups boiling water
4 tsp Tealeaves Lapsang Souchong

Preparation: Brew tea leaves in boiling water for 4-6+ minutes. In order to make the smoky flavor of the Lapsang Souchong stand out the mixologist doubled the amount of leaves and brewed for a longer period than recommended for a plain drinking steep.
