The Purefect Pear Sake Cocktail is the collaborative creation of Tealeaves and Shimizu-No-Mai. Opening with the light, fruity fragrance of Organic Pear Tree Green Tea, the cocktail then melds into notes of rice and cantaloupe from the Pure Snow Sake-- a drink that lingers on both mind and palate, long after the initial sip.


A PUREFECT PEAR by Tealeaves

2 oz Organic Pear Tree Green Tea*
4 oz Shimizu-No-Mai Pure Snow Sake
1 oz Organic Pear Tree Green Syrup**
Lemon juice
Lemon slice

Preparation:
1. Add tea, syrup. sake, and a dash of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake and serve in a chilled glass.
3. Garnish with a lemon slice.


*Organic Pear Tree Green Tea
2 cups Hot water
2 tsp Organic Pear Tree Green Loose Leaf Tea

Preparation: Steep loose tea in hot water for 1 min. and remove leaves.
Note: Take 2 oz and put aside for cocktail recipe. Use remainder for syrup recipe.


**Organic Pear Tree Green Syrup
2 cups Sugar
1.5 cups Organic Pear Tree Green Tea

Preparation: Add sugar in tea to dissolve. Bring to boil and let it cool before use.
Note: Cocktail recipe does not require the entire amount. Store remaining syrup in fridge for future use.
