This Manga Editorial Debuts Kit Wan Studio"s Spring/Summer 2019
A manga editorial is launched to mark the release of Kit Wan Studio"s Spring/Summer 2019 campaign. Dubbed "Chapter 000 第零章: The Odyssey," the collection does not only fuse fantasy with reality but also brings two cultures together. For one, the "angular tech wear pieces" are indicative of the years that the designer spent in Norway. However, there is a potent sense of heritage here since Kit Wan pays tribute to his home — Hong Kong, by way of infusing his clothing with traditional elements and silhouettes derived from fiction. The fact that Kit Wan"s garments are presented in a creative manga editorial, featuring both animation and cosplay-inspired styling, also adds a sense of authenticity to the Spring/Summer 2019 collection.
