There are many amazing exercises to work the glutes, but the Hip Thrust is the #1 exercise for building size on the glutes in my books. My fave way to incorporate hip thrusts into my workout is to start with booty banded light weight hip thrusts focusing on the flex for 1-2 sets of 10-15 reps. Next I"ll stack up an olympic bar and do 2-3 sets of heavy lifts (roughly 250-300lbs).
The most important part of doing hip thrusts is to activate first, then do quality movements regardless of the weight that you"re using.
