Better BODY, Better ATHLETE Series: Single-Leg Squat "n" Reach Exercise

Single-Leg Squat N Reach. EVERY athlete, particularly runners must do this exercise!

When we run, we are constantly in the single-leg stance, so it only makes sense to do exercises which will strengthen us in that position. This exercise should be done in a slow, controlled motion-focus on engaging your core, your butt and your feet as you squat and reach. When possible, do this exercise barefoot - and don"t worry about having a weight to reach for...you can reach for anything, even if it"s invisible. =)
