Ninja Ab Exercise - Advanced Bodyweight Training

In this video we show you an awesome ninja ab exercise. We take the basic quadrupedal movement from parkour and make it more advanced by performing it on smaller surfaces until we can perform it on a rail.
Some also call this a cat crawl. I remember first seeing this exercise performed by Sébastien Foucan (known as the founder of Freerunning)
When you do this exercise, your abs are working extremely hard to keep you stabilized as you take steps up and down the rail. The wrist and forearms are working extremely hard to maintain balance. The timing and coordination with the arms and legs has to be perfect to stay on top of the rail and move effectively.
By performing this exercise, you will get better balance, you will get stronger abs and core (which will help you get your 6 pack), you will build advanced coordination, and you will get functional strength you can use for other sports or day to day physical tasks.
Again this is an advanced exercise. It will take time and practice to move up and down on rails. Start low to ground first on beams and curbs. Once you have built the ab strength, balance, and coordination to perform this easily, then move up to rails.
Try it today and start getting down those ninja skills while building an athletic body!
